Regency Wilshire is a 18-story 75-unit Highrise on the Wilshire Corridor in Westwood.  


Built-in 1982, by developers Steve Elghanayan & his Cousin Moise Elghanayan who hired N.B. Architecture  Inc. based out of Santa Monica and builders Swinerton & Walberg Co. the full-service luxury tower was built at an original cost of 50M. Regency Wilshire is not to be confused with the nearby Wilshire Regent which is a completely different building. The developer boasted in an interview “Whatever a hotel has, we can provide…” Several of the original condo sales sold to corporations. This building was built as condos. No Penthouses. Floorplans have a formal entry through a large wooden double door. These condos are quite spacious with large open living rooms that feature a gas burning fireplace- the original floorplans had a wet bar in the lving room but many owners have removed them over the years. Off the living room is a long and narrow balcony with room for a small table and two chairs. In the smaller 2 bedroom floorplans, the kitchens are galley style, with the larger floorplans the Kitchen has a cove shape that is large enough to have a small center island.
